Sarah F. Hoffman is VP, Associate Director of Machine Learning at FactSet. Sarah started working at FactSet in 2007, as part of FactSet’s Natural Language Processing group. Sarah co-developed FactSet’s first Machine Learning project in 2008 and has been heading FactSet’s Machine Learning and Language Technology Team since 2013. Sarah is also a Technology Advisor for ChalkSense, LLC’s RegulatoryGenieTM initiative. Sarah was nominated as a Rising Star for WatersTechnology’s Women in Technology and Data Awards in 2018. Prior to FactSet, Sarah worked as an Information Technology Analyst at Lehman Brothers for three years. Sarah holds an MS from Columbia University in Computer Science with a focus on Natural Language Processing. She also holds a BBA from Baruch College in Computer Information Systems.
