Carol Cheswick is a Business Specialist with the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC).  Since joining the organization in 2012, Ms. Cheswick has empowered hundreds of clients through one-on-one counseling on specific business and career challenges.  She also teaches GPS – a Guide to Plan for Success, WBDC’s signature business plan development program for aspiring entrepreneurs who seek to start a small business and make their vision a reality, and existing business owners looking to take the next step.

Ms. Cheswick brings over 30 years of experience in finance, marketing, investing and executive consulting to the organization.  In recent years, Carol has been a managing director at Appleseed Food Frontiers, where she worked with aspiring food entrepreneurs looking to start and scale their food businesses.  She owns her own company, White Beach Consulting helping companies retain their best people, encourage teamwork and improve productivity.  Carol also works with individual clients encouraging them to identify their own extraordinary talents.

Ms. Cheswick has been a principal in her family’s investment management business, Cheswick Investment Co., Inc.  She has also worked in a variety of positions at Citibank NA and Scudder, Stevens & Clark, (now part of Deutsche Bank).  She is a graduate of Wellesley College with a MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
