Ali Berman is a program manager for CTNext and is responsible for the Innovation Places Program and the Higher Education Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fund.
Previously, Berman was an executive assistant for Techstars, a global ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs to bring new technologies to market wherever they choose to live. In addition to planning many events to support Techstars’ accelerator and startup programs worldwide, Berman served as the interim director of the Techstars Foundation, which provides grants and resources to support organizations making a scalable impact on diversity in tech entrepreneurship. In this role, she was an integral part of launching the Techstars Foundation and managing fundraising campaigns.
Berman combines her experience working closely with executive teams and watching founders scale businesses with her passion for supporting entrepreneurs and innovators. Previously, she worked at other impact businesses and companies making a positive social change, such as Verano Capital, which is involved in renewable energy projects in Latin America; the Women’s Initiative, a business training program for low-income women in San Francisco’s Bay Area; and Pro Mujer, an organization that provides women in Latin America with financial, health and human development services.
Berman holds a bachelor of arts degree in business and Spanish from Skidmore College.
